National Capture Your Heritage Contest:
The City of Laval, in collaboration with École Saint-Maxime and the Centre lavallois de ressources éducatives et culturelles, has created the exhibition Capture ton patrimoine to showcase the work done by its budding artists.
Highlighting the heritage of Île Jésus through photographs taken by 10 young people aged 12 to 16, the contest allowed them to express themselves on the heritage that surrounds them. Through the sensitive eyes of these young people from Laval, (re)discover these elements that forge the identity of our territory.
Congratulations to all and to the LREC winners
- Khadija Benbadri
- Yassine Laassel
- NaÏla El Moutarajji Our winners have earned it:
- Works exposed on the bank of the cages
- 40.00 in cash, and a professional photography course offered by Gosselin

Exhibition created by the young people of the LREC Center in January 2019. We could only be proud of the quality of their research work on several technological objects of the 20th century and which for the majority are unknown nowadays.
Several other cultural and recreational activities and contests have taken place at the LREC, but unfortunately, the current circumstances due to Covid-19 prevent us from carrying out such high traffic events. We are currently working with a group of young people on a video production project that will be available online towards the end of the school year.
